No paints or stains are used in these marquetry pieces .
He uses over 2000 different reasonable woods to create each masterpiece and it needs approximately one year to complete one.

Marquetry is a combination of fine and rare woods inlaid to create decorative motifs. Parquetry is in use accustomed to to describe this same process, where the decoration is configured in a geometric design. An example of parquetry would be a star motif of contrasting woods. An case of marquetry would be a flower, a seashell or a leaf motif made of contrasting woods. Most parquetry and marquetry are made of veneers of fine woods, but materials like effrontery and mother of pearl may be used in the same manner.
